Update for My Private Practice

It’s been 10 months since I closed my office in March.  Here’s what I’m thinking about resuming my hands-on bodywork portion of my practice.

I don’t feel adequate in keeping people safe by doing the intimate touching that cranial sacral work entails.   There are protocols, of course, but I’m not skilled in them and don’t feel I am likely to gain the skills.  So, I won’t be doing bodywork until we’re all vaccinated and not needing to wear masks.  June?

Two Other Issues

I closed my office, so I don’t have a place to practice.  My friend Annie Lindberg, who took over the space, says I’m welcome back any time.  However, that’s only if she has space.  She needs to keep the space filled by rent paying therapists, so there may not be room for me.

Secondly, the West Seattle Bridge is closed until some unknown date in the middle of 2022.  I despise the new commute.  At best, I might only be able to come in one day a week.

Lastly, I like working with people on the phone and many are enjoying the, mostly, half hour, sessions.  I encourage you to think about joining me for a periodic phone call.

If you want bodywork referrals, talk to me.  I have a short list of great trusted people who can help you.

May you walk in beauty,

William

P.S.  Retirement?  I keep feeling into my heart and soul regarding all of these things.  I trust that voice.  Is it time to retire?  Not yet is the answer.
