When you least expect it, everything changes.
My officemate, Annie, reminds me of the first rule of medicine, “First do no harm.”
Yep. So that means I won’t be seeing any bodywork clients until Halloween 2020. I will reevaluate at that time.
My coaches and my physician all agree – don’t touch people. Some expect the hiatus to last until we secure a cure or a vaccine. Vicky, my doctor, reminds me good people have been working on an HIV vaccine for 40 years. A vaccine might not be imminent.
One immediate consequence is that I have given up my lovely office of 27 years. Annie and Stacia will take it over and hope to make ends meet. If you know someone that needs a space, therapist or not, let me know. They will be subletting one of the rooms.
I will still be offering life coaching and mentoring over the phone or via Zoom.
The regular fee for one hour is $180. Half hour is $108. You may use the sliding scale as per usual if you need. A half hour session works for most people.
