Here’s a seasonal tip for you – a way to improve your water so you can drink more and remove any stagnation so you can stay healthy. Cool!
Naturally, it’s part of the Get Well Be Well, Stay Well Program. You can find out more here

My naturopathic doctor recommended an alternative drink to plain water, especially good when you’re fighting a cold or other respiratory bug. Cut a couple of lemon slices and throw into a mug. Roughly chop or slice fresh peeled ginger root, about 1 tsp. worth (more or less depending upon your spice preference) and add to mug. Pour boiling water over all to fill mug. You can add some honey if you have a sore throat or just need the energy. You can also squeeze in more lemon juice if you like the tart. Adjust quantities to match your taste. Try using lime slices for a milder citrus flavor.
My sister, a biodynamic ginger farmer in Hawaii, swears by ginger as a great cure-all, and it warms you right up when you’re feeling chilly.
